A special daily Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM Thursday, July 4 at the Cathedral's New Mount Calvary Cemetery on Plattsburgh Avenue in Burlington. Please bring a chair. The Mass will move to the Cathedral chapel if it rains. There will be no 12:05 PM Mass, and the parish office is closed.
The annual Family Day at St. Anne's Shrine begins with Mass at 12:15 PM celebrated by Bishop-elect John McDermott. A barbecue follows. Please RSVP to the Shrine by July 3 at (802) 928-3362.
The Cathedral parish office hours will be Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 PM. The office will continue to be closed on Fridays. Current parish secretary Dorothy Barewicz will become the parish office accountant, and will be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Susan Wilson will be the new parish secretary, working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

After Mass, Vermont Right-to-Life holds its second BIRTHday party celebrating the 2022 U.S. Supreme Court decision ending a federal right to abortion. The party runs from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM with speakers, games, prizes, and music. Children are welcome.
Ushers working at the July 15 Ordination of Bishop-Elect McDermott will meet for training on the Cathedral's emergency medical equipment including the defibrillator (AED). Meetings are after the 10:00 AM Mass Sunday, June 23 and next Saturday, June 29 after the 4:00 PM Mass.
Birthright of Burlington benefits from this donation campaign, which collects baby items - diapers, wipes, clothing, equipment, and other necessities - to help new mothers. The Knights are placing barrels at the back of the church for these items, as well as for money contributions. The barrels will remain in the church through Father's Day, June 16.
