The R.C.I.A. invites all adults who have not been baptized to “Come and See” and learn how the Catholic Church, its teachings, practices and beliefs, can lead you to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and His Church through the waters of Baptism. This program is also for non-Catholics interested in becoming a member of the Catholic Church. This process may also be for Catholic adults who may not have received First Communion or the Sacrament of Confirmation and now wish to complete their Sacraments of Initiation. If enough people are interested, classes will begin on Sunday, October 2nd and will be held in the Blue Room on Sunday from 11:15 to 12:30 (after the 10AM Mass). The Vermont Institute for Human Flourishing invites you to attend “Restoring Our Faith”, an inspiring one-day summit featuring radio host and cultural leader, Dennis Prager. This event will take place at the Double Tree Hotel in South Burlington, VT on October 25, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Americans have allowed themselves to be intimidated by fallible and overbearing “experts”, adding a state of fear to a fast-moving cultural breakdown. “Restoring our Faith Summit” featuring renowned social scientists, faith leaders and physicians, will address the impact of secular forces at work in our culture and present their solutions. By revisiting the critical role that faith and family play in a flourishing society, we will hope to inspire a renewed commitment to the life-affirming paths of our Judeo/ Christian heritage.
