The Joseph’s House Thanksgiving Outreach Program hopes to serve 75 families this year. Each registered family will receive a Hannaford Gift Card for the Thanksgiving dinner trimmings and a second gift card to purchase a frozen turkey. Please find donation envelopes at the Cathedral entrances, or use your own envelope and mark it "Thanksgiving Outreach." Joseph's House appreciates any amount. Donations may be made anytime during October and November. Checks should be made out to: “Joseph's House” and should include the notation “Thanksgiving Outreach”. Please drop your envelope in the collection basket on the weekend, or mail/bring it to Joseph’s House directly. Our address is 113 Elmwood Avenue, Burlington, VT 05401. Thank you for your great compassion and generosity!
We should all like to do our part to keep our Cathedral entrances welcoming and free of clutter. However, we need your help to do this. Please do not bring pamphlets, cards, religious articles, food, etc. to the Church to be left on the tables or benches for others to take. If you would like to leave something for distribution, please call or bring it to the Parish Office. Also, please do not post on or remove items from the bulletin board. Msgr. Routhier must approve all posted materials. We have a volunteer who handles bulletin boards for us. Thank you for your cooperation!
The Cathedral parish office will be closed Monday for the holiday. Confessions at 11:30 AM and the 12:05 PM Mass are cancelled. The daily Mass schedule resumes Tuesday.
