40 Hours of Devotion

You are invited March 4th to the 40 Hour Devotion to begin Lent with renewed devotion at St. John Vianney Church in South Burlington. One of the three pillars of Lent is prayer. To offer an extra opportunity for meditation and contemplation. St. John Vianney Church will host 40 continuous hours of Eucharistic Adoration and prayer. There are Masses, a penance service, and other special devotions planned during the 40 hours. Adoration will begin after the 5:30 PM Mass on Thursday, March 3rd and continue until Benediction at 10:00AM on Saturday, March 5th. Please consider when you might be able to come and spend an hour with our Lord. We are in need of two people for each shift, especially during the overnight hours which are traditionally difficult to cover. Spread the word to friends and family!
